Breifly, Mandatorrey Business feels and sounds like a mixtape for the streets. Uniquely enough, the streets of Sacramento. I havent seen a local artist with a 26 track mixtape in a minute. Shit took me two days to get a full listen. I say its for the streets because its filled with feautres and shoutouts to the our “hood”. Lyrically, Torrey has stepped his game up tremendously. The first couple tracks demand your attention and happen to be my favorite of all ;theres honestly nothing better than a rapper that does his job, RAP. He got tracks for the dudes, the females, and the club. Its a great follow up mixtape. Im not the type to put a number on a mixtape but it definetly deserves a listen. I’m excited to see Torrey grow as an artist and can’t wait to see what he does next. Look out for this dude is determined to make it and be heard.

So Lupe fiasco headlined a show at my school featuring, Talib Kweli, Strong Arm Steady and The Far east Movement.
As Far as performances go, Lupe got the most love of course. The far east movement surprised me, it was a group of three asian boys wearing slim ties and leather jackets. Their stage performance was pretty dynamic they got the crowd to move pretty easily and swagg juice was every where. Im not gonna front I left before kweli came out because the wait was too damn long. but strong arm steady was horrible by thee way, i was gonna boo them but i figured people would just look at me crazy
Here are a couple lupe fiasco performance shots. gimme a break im no PAPES or JV, + i used my iphone not a nikon…

Here is the far east movement….
